Modern service industry has formed a modern logistics industry with port logistics as the core, a tourism and leisure industry with mountain and sea tourism as the core, a cultural industry with cultural creativity as the core, and a business service industry with modern business as the core. Lianyungang has been successfully selected into the list of the first batch of national logistics hub during the national 14th Five-Year Plan. All the counties in the city has developed their own national-level or provincial-level demonstration counties of E-commerce. Xinpu Old- style Characteristic Street and Lianyun Old Street were selected into the first group of provincial-level Cultural and Tourism Consumption Agglomeration Area Construction Units.
