At 11:00 a.m. on June 8, two trains loaded with second-hand automobiles, household building materials and other goods whistled from the China and Kazakhstan logistics base, respectively, to Ulaanbaatar City, Mongolia and Tashkent, Uzbekistan, marking the smooth launch of the "Japan-China (Lianyungang)-Mongolia" train, realizing the institutional innovation advantages of the free trade zone and the effective connection of international train convenience. At the same time, after the three ports of Horgos, Alashankou and Kashi, Lianyungang has added the "Erenhot¡± cross-border transport channel. The construction of land-sea intermodal transport channel has reached a new stage.

It is known that "Rail-Sea Express" is a new brand actively built and realized by China Railway Container Company to serve the maritime Silk Road, and it has been listed in the container development plan of China Railway Group. Specifically, it is organized by China Railway Container Company, Liner Company and other logistics enterprises to provide customers with one-time commission, one-to-one, full service, green and efficient multimodal transport service products. By means of fixed route, fixed schedule and fixed delivery time, the efficient and seamless connection between railway and sea liner can be realized, and the whole logistics service chain can be opened. It has the characteristics of accurate delivery time of goods, network coverage all over the world, high sharing of railway and sea information, dynamic hand-held transportation process and one-stop service. Its main operation mode is to transfer the railway boxes from the domestic coastal ports to Japan for concentration. After loading the second-hand automobiles and other goods, it will be sent to Lianyungang from Osaka port, Japan by passing through Erenhot and then finally transported to the city of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia via railway.
