¡°It¡¯s so convenient. We used to wave our hands to get on the bus at the roadside or make an appointment by phone. In the future, we can take the bus like using ride-hailing service!¡± Yesterday morning, the newly built ¡°Easy Travel in Lianyungang¡± customized bus platform, which is owned by the Municipal Transportation Holding Group, opened three direct bus routes through the ¡°Smart Lianyungang City¡± and ¡°My Lianyungang¡± APP terminals, and passengers can ¡°take a bus like taking a taxi¡± just by moving their fingers.

At 7:07 yesterday, the first online bus ¡°D1¡± entered the station at the BRT bus stop in Longhe Square. Just like the fast BRT, the ride-hailing bus has a blue appearance with a body length of 12 meters, but uses ¡°D¡± as the bus number. Passengers only need to pay attention to the display screens at the front and rear of the bus to easily find the ride-hailing bus they want to take.

The author followed the passengers to get on the ride-hailing bus and experience the service in person. In the scorching summer, the air conditioning inside is cooling the bus. Passengers can coin, swipe their cards or pay their fares online. Line ¡°D1¡± starts from Longhe Square Station and ends at the Marine Drive. Normally, it takes more than an hour to travel, but it only takes 45 minutes by the ride-hailing bus.

According to the Public Transportation Group owned by the Municipal Traffic Holding Group, people just need to operate on the ¡°Smart Lianyungang City¡± or ¡°My Lianyungang¡± APP to make an appointment for online public transportation, enter the ¡°Easy Travel in Lianyungang¡± section and select ¡°Nonstop Bus¡±. The time and number of buses that can be reserved will be clear at a glance. At present, three lines are open to traffic, mainly for commuters in the main urban area of Haizhou to and from Lianyun District and Xuwei New Area. Students of Jiangsu Ocean University are offered fast and direct travel options and services to and from Lianyungang Railway Station.

Among them, Line D1 starts from Longhe Square at 7:10 a.m., passes through Hailian Road, Gangcheng Avenue and Marine Drive to the initial and terminal stations of Marine Drive, and it returns at 18:00 p.m. by stopping at Longhe Square, water supply company, Zhenhua Road and the initial and terminal stations of Marine Drive. The full fare ticket is 5 yuan, and the bus departs with at least 20 people for a single trip.

The D2 line departs from Lianyungang Railway Station at 7 am and passes through Renmin Road, Yanhe Road, Hailian Road, Yingzhou Road, Cangwu Road, Xuxin Road, Shanghai Road, Xuwei Avenue, Nanjing Road and Hezuo Road to Xuwei Passenger Transport Service Center. At 17:50 pm, it returns by the original route and stops at Lianyungang Railway Station, Citizen Square, Cangwu Green Park and Xuwei Passenger Transport Service Center along the way. The full fare ticket is 10 yuan, and the bus departs with at least 20 people for a single trip.

Line D3 offers a two-way tailor-made service from Lianyungang Railway Station to Cangwu Campus of Jiangsu Ocean University (north side of Haigong Building). The customized time is 8:00-12:00 and 14:00-18:00 during the students¡¯ vacation and returning to school. The full fare ticket is 4 yuan, and the bus departs with at least 30 people for a single trip.

It is worth noting that if the number of passengers falls short of departure requirement, the system will automatically refund the fare. If the passenger arrives late or does not show up due to his/her own reasons, the driver will not wait and the ticket fare cannot be refunded to ensure that other passengers travel on time.

Compared with general taxis or ride-hailing cars, ride-hailing buses have significant advantages of low price, stable operation, safe travel and fast and direct arrival. This opening to traffic will be a powerful supplement to meet the diverse travel needs of passengers. So far, the Municipal Public Transport Group has opened a total of 238 customized bus routes, with an annual delivery capacity of over 86000 buses and an annual passenger transport capacity of 2.1644 million.

It is reported that if passengers have other route needs, they can turn to the ¡°Route Application¡± function by registering in the relevant APPs. The bus group, based on passengers¡¯ feedback, will continuously optimize and improve the platform system functions, and they are trying their best to customize the ¡°optimal¡± travel route for passengers.
