As a national comprehensive transportation hub in China and a national logistics hubportcity, Lianyungang has formed a three-dimensional transportation system based on ports, highways, railways, aviation and inland rivers. The year of 2022 witnessed the formation of a combined layout of “one body and two wings” of the Lianyungang Port pacing up; the Lianyungang-Xuzhou, Lianyungang-Qingdao, Lianyungang-Yancheng,Lianyungang-Huai'an-Yangzhou-Zhenjiang high-speed railways have become smoother channels connecting the city with the rest of the country; the opening of the Huaguoshan Airport has added new air routes supporting the Belt and Road. By these means, the city has enhanced its position as a new major transportation hub connecting Asia and Europe.
